Basic Statute of our Association

ARTICLE 1

Founded in 2009, The National Association of Alternative Tourism is subject to the provisions of the royal decree no 376- 158 (November 15, 1958) regulating the right of associations, such as it was modified and completed by the royal decree no 283-173 of April 10, 1973 and the royal decree of July 23, 2002, by the general principles of the law applicable to contracts and obligations.

 ARTICLE 2

Headquarter: takes place in the locality of Amsa, Province of Tetouan, Kingdom of Morocco.

ARTICLE 3

Duration course: the Moroccan Association of Alternative Tourism has been created for a non-limited period.

ARTICLE 4

The Moroccan Association of Alternative Tourism aims to achieve the following objectives and principles:

**** The valuation of international rules and canons, regulating and systemazing the field  of tourism;

**** The fomentation of sport and leisure tourism, plus archeo-cultural tourism, gastronomical tourism, and ecological tourism, shall take place in the Sahara, maritime areas, bushes or mountains;

**** The promotion and commercialisation of national tourism products, via contacting continental tourism establishments, institutions, fondations, organizations, firms, agencies, clubs, magazines, new medias, and so forth;

**** The Publication of journalistic articles, CD Roms,  and leaflets, shedding light over Moroccan tourism;

**** The Organizaton of  meetings, artistic activities, excursions, trophies, forums, round-tables, and formation courses related to alternative tourism and sustainable development;

**** The highlighting of natural, historical, patrimonial, linguistic, urbano-architectural, and human features of the Moroccan Kingdom;

**** The Stressing and pointing up of major hindrances, obstructing the development of Moroccan tourism industry, by alarming governmental dignitaries and dirigeants of the ITO and UN;

**** The launching of tourism projects, in cooperation with silent partners, sponsors, exterior partners, public administrations, urban and rural communes, etc…;


**** The boosting of welfare advancement, individuals' safety, family planification and the combatting of social infirmities, such us analphabetism.

ARTICLE 5

Membership: 2 sorts (executive members and honorary adherents).

Membership procedure:

Any member or adherent must:

**** Pay the annual subscription fee;

**** respect the association's internal law;

**** Apply correctly the association's mandates.

ARTICLE 6

Destitution.

The member or adherent shall be congealed, once he abandons the association or does not confirm to the internal regulations.

ARTICLE 7

The association's committee manages all affairs. This bureau or committee is composed by five executive members, elected every five years.

ARTICLE 8

All kinds of political, religious or doctrinal discussions shall not be permitted.

ARTICLE 9

The Moroccan Association of Alternative tourism organizes variegated genres of activities (excursions, galas, round-tables, meetings, forums, parties, fairs, conferences, new media, etc.), in order to achieve its objectives.

ARTICLE 10

Annual affiliation duties: 50 MDH

Annual contribution: 50 MDH

Donations, grants, allowances, and multiple  revenues: not limited.

ARTICLE 11

The bank account is opened in the name of the association. Any amount of money withdrawn from that account via check containing both signing of the chairman and treasurer.

ARTICLE 12

In case the association is dissolved, a general union shall be convoked, so as delivering  its own material to associated cooperatives,  institutions, and associations.
